No!! That is not our job, nor a very good way to spread democracy!! If the Communist were doing the same thing wonder what our position would be then?

The ironic thing is we are NOT a democracy!! If we were George Bush would have lost the 2000 election as he did not win the majority of the votes, Gore did!

Dear Canadian
I realize from your perspective it is an easy effort to sing *** By Ya smoke dope and marry your same sex partner, and while parts of Canada are trying to impose Sharia law on the infidels,
there is youngster, a link to islamo-fascisim. Iraq had diplomatic relations with the Taliban, Al Queda established it self with Iraq before 2003 which would mean a "Safe Haven". for Al Queda to operate. Like in Canada. remember those 17 peace loving individuals rounded up by your government? It is also true that 500 rounds of WMD are a Violation of UN Sanctions. You remember those 17 visits with the Security Council that were Maintaining a CEASEFIRE. This is key, Because The 1991 war was not ended by treaty. It was a cease fire agreement. With more than 500 violations. The Cease fire was terminated in 2003.
The United States acted properly. PS: The UN ignored it's own sanctions.

If you're talking about Iraq, where the country is run by a murdering moron who harbors terrorists that kill innocent people, then no, the USA does not have a right, they have a MORAL OBLIGATION to do so and thank god we have George Bush as President who has the guts to do what Clinton didn't.

And to the guy who answered above, you're right, the US is not a democracy, we're a constitutional republic. Get your facts straight. And citizens don't vote for the president, the electoral college does. They are supposed to reflect the voice of the people they represent. You need to learn about the country you live in before you criticize it.

America has the right to intervene in countries that are threats in the international community to protect itself and other countries. If we just pulled out of Iraq and left no government behind, another Saddam-like dictator would take control of the country and all we have fought for in Iraq would be for nothing. There is no one who is strong enough to take control of Iraq who would be both strong enough to keep order there and be respected by Iraq's citizens, so the best choice is to put a government chosen by the people there.

Are you someone who believes everyone has a right to decide what is right for them? In that case, the USA has the right to decide that war is right for them, and you can't say they're wrong, because even if their ideology is directly opposed to your own, you have to admit their right to their own ideology. And since no idea is worth anything without acting upon it, you couldn't fault the USA for actually going to war.

Post-modernism and subjectivity kinda sucks, don't it? Only when you believe that some things must be right or wrong for everyone everywhere can you hope for peace, and then only when you've got everybody agreeing on what those things are.

Hell yeah! The USA has become the international referee of world politics. We realize the potential danger of nuclear weopons in the hands of irresponsible radicals and must have a 'first-strike' posture in the interational arena. Otherwise we'd have all these power-hunger dictators flinging nuclear missiles at each other and the world would become a radioactive wasteland.

the area is planned in the defense force education section, no longer acessible now and for final 60+ years. the territory continues to be Czech. State protection subject concerns won't be in a position to be resolved in refferendum, in view that in czech republic expecially, ANY refferendum approximately combating might fail, alongside with referendum with regard to the protecting the Czech territory itself. great ingredient may be if we be in a position to delay placement until the hot president and goverment of the US declare preparedness to assist the area... i does not opt to have right here an unsupported PoSE /concern of somebody else's/. besides i in my view locate that radar website lots smaller evil than our "political will" to take part interior the Afghan war, for which we dont have substances nor education. rather our goverment boldly grants our troops and crews as a stuff into that meat mincer.

Yes if they pose a threat to the United States and are actively working toward sending bombs into the US. A country giving terrorists sanctuary and support while they attack the US is a terrorist country and the US has a right to defend itself from these attacks.
