I think you are right.
This is why,
Heb. 5.13-14
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
.......................................................................................
Addition,
Don't be fooled, remember that the bible says to test everything!
Even these answers!
2 John 1:7 (New International Version)
Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
The bible doesn't say to lay with your spouse to make evil spirits go away.
The bible tells us to do "Exactly what you are doing!
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Blessings.

I mean really, Folks, we can give them what name we like!
Whether we name them 'angels of the Devil', demons, bad ghosts, evil spirits ... whatever you will!
The main thing is it sounds as if this man is receiving an attack of the devil and his 'accomplices'.
They are basically, Demons ... or 'angels of death', if you will.
They are trying to recapture you, and as someone said, to turn your focus away from God and onto them.
In my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, honourable men hold the Priesthood of God - which gives them authority to act in the name of God in righteousness.
I can remember, even as a young man, being asked by another member to be part of casting a demon out of a particular household.
We did so by virtue of the Priesthood.
... and that was it. It was gone.
I also decades later, had the most terrible terrifying experience of my whole lifetime, which I would not wish even on a snake!!!!! ... wherein I suddenly felt Hell consuming me, as if I were part of it, or that I belonged to it!!!
I witnessed first hand the exraordinary TERROR that is HELL.
It was an experience beyond description.
It caught me unexpectedly, at a great Low in my life - due to physical restriction at the time.
I received blessings; I had counsel from all sorts and levels of Church leadership.
These all helped.
I kept my parents close [even though I was married]. They lived upstairs in fact.
My eventual answer, as usual with God's things, was right beside me all the time: MY WIFE!
Physical contact with my wife broke any power that Satan was able to exert upon me.
Literal Togetherness and affection destroyed the chains of the Adversary.
Love knows no bounds - hence, the Father has none [bounds].

Have to agree with the fellas above me. They are not Ghosts. Your point your making is that they must be demons. You stated when you got closer to God thats when you realized that they are not ghosts. Good for you. Stay in your Bible. Learn more about God. They are there only to distract you and keep your focus on Ghosts and not God.

ghosts are people who should have transitioned but are stuck. this is a spiritual/metaphysical problem based on their material/physical experiences. they replay events and can't hurt you.
never saw your original question, but from what i gather from the rest - it is natural that the closer you get to God, the more the opposition wants to stop you from crossing the finish line - so naturally they will be against this.
But you can order them out at any time in the name of Yeshuah Messhiah - Jesus Christ - and they have no choice but to leave. However, you must do this with authority (belief/in God's promise = Covenant) for it to work, which ends up demonstrating your power in Faith.

call the doctor and get some rest. you dont sound well.
christianity is not a reliationship with God anyways,
Christianity makes a mockery of God. At the same time that Christians claim to worship God as an omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent being, they make him out to be incompetent bumbler. Or worse. Simple forgiveness is beyond his capacities. God must "sacrifice himself to himself to change a rule he made himself!"
This is not only an absurdity, it is an essential absurdity. It is present in almost almost all forms of Christianity, and one can scarcely remove it and remain a Christian in anything but name. By definition, all Christians worship Christ - in some form - and most worship him as a saviour.
But what, exactly, is he saving us from? Though it varies from church to church, no matter what they call it, it's God himself. A hell created by God, a world fallen as a result of God's negligence, a separation from God imposed... by God.
"It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being."
- Dan Barker, Losing Faith in Faith
Christianity certainly isn't the first religion to promote appeasement of its gods, and if it were merely another supernatural protection racket, it would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Christians elevate appeasement to the realm of "personal relationship", transforming their religion into a true monstrosity.
This is the type of "relationship" that abused wives have with their husbands, that brainwashed hostages have with their captors. It is known in clinical circles as Stockholm Syndrome. Should it come as any surprise that the cries of the church, "The Bride of Christ" sound much like the cries of an abused wife attempting to protect her husband?
"He must beat me."
"I deserve it."
"He has no choice."
"It's for my own good."
These excuses don't work for human abusers, and they work even less well for God. For if God is omnipotent, he must have a choice. And if we are flawed, we are only flawed because that is the way he made us. (No excuses that we ruined his perfect creation. A truly perfect creation does not self-destruct.)
If the Christian God does exist - and I see no reason to believe that he does - he's not worthy of the name.
And that is the ultimate absurdity of Christianity.

You will still have battles with evil even after you become a child of God. The war is over, praise God. The battles are satan trying to get you to turn on your savior now, so he can laugh at God. So he can tell Jesus, "You died in vein". Tell the evil to get behind you in the name of Jesus Christ. You don't need a shrink. You need to continue your relationship with God.

I not sure about the physical apparitions you are describing. But I can assure you that Satan and his angels are more than busy attacking the minds and emotions of the followers of Jesus Christ. I don't think Satan can, nor has time to play ghost.

As you have become more spiritual you have opened youself to the whole spiritual world which includes ghosts. You need to talk to whoever may be in your home and tell them to leave in the name of Jesus. Maybe you can get some holy water and bless your house.
