I'd take the roadsweeper anyday. A millionaire's first love is money and I want to be the priority in a man's life.

If you had the choice of a life with a millionaire and roadsweeper. Surely you would do the same.

I'm a young, good looking female and I am in love with an older man who is not a millionare nor a roadsweeper. He barely makes enough to get by and has baggage.... Now, I may be an exception to the rule but this is my situation.... I love him for him and for the ways he makes me feel and how we are together...

My older husband retired from a not-especially-high-paying government job just a couple of years after we married, and his retirement income was half of what the working income had been. And we got by fine. Enjoyed the extra time together more than we would have the money. He is a lovely man, well-read, intellectual, empathetic, a great listener, good sense of humor and very handsome and athletic. We divorced 10 years later, mostly because of MY problems. And I didn't ask for a dime from him in the divorce. Don't generalize.

An aweful lot of younger Ladies do this.So as to not have to worry about anything as far as finances are concerned. And they enjoy being able to enjoy the finer things that an older man can usually provide. As he has been in the work force for a lot longer than a younger man.And therefore,Usually has more paper set aside and or invested. There are however younger Ladies such as below here that do marry for love.Does anyone else remember that word???.Not to many i'll wager...

Shallow, definatly shallow, a very close friend of mine only dates rich older fellas, they never give her what she wants and it always only lasts weeks.,
I dont know how some women live and share a bed with a creapy older guy (no offence) if they are only there for the money, I'll admit there are some simply sexy older men out there, ive met some, but the majority of the young girls I know date the rich ones!
Anyone disagree?

I think that's a generalization. I do believe there are some women out there that truly marry for love and are not gold-diggers. I think there's a chance that it might be just a coincidence, although there's no denying there are women out there that marry just for the money... (men too, I'm sure). I could go for a sugar momma, but I wouldn't sell out on the one that I truly love.

Not a coincidence. But did you think about the obvious aspect? Successful men attract people. with their self confidence and their determination to succeed. Beautiful women fall into line.
The woman is really in love, she is the vulnerable one.

I think we only hear about the millionaire stories, we never hear about the ditchdiggers and street sweepers. That's not news. I'm still in shock that 400plus beautiful women were fighting over the chance to date Flava Flav. Thanks for the Q hun
