For the men, it is going through a second childhood. For women, it is menopause!
They are out there, unfortunately the ones that are 'normal' are the ones married! (I am 49).
Do not be in such a rush for finding a man. I think their immaturity is because since they are getting older, they want to try to defy their age and act like a fool! 30 is our magic number, maybe 40 is theirs.
If we went through a second childhood like the men do, we would be called everything BUT a lady, or woman!

Well Im age 36 and Guys are immature because they always want to make us think that they always have to be in control of females They dont like it when we hold our own they want us to feel like we need them! So when they act immature It's a power struggle!

Mid-life crisis
they all get immature at that age
not quite there yet but watch my father and one brother do the exact same thing
that is why i belive half the men that age date 20 yr olds

Because they want to live the Peter Pan live and never grow up and get old and settle down because this is to much like being right and they can't do to save their life so just keep looking it's a few out there but the good ones are mostly taken.

omg, i know what you mean. they don't grow up UNLESS something really bad has happened to them before to make them change, they are all 18 year olds with receding grey hairlines and pot bellies.
divorcees with kids - parenting usually makes them better at caring- growing up poor makes them stronger and more appreciative - stay away from heavily religious men, they are the most immature guys i have ever seen.

Are you serious? I usually think guys over 40 are stuffy! I rarely find one that isn't. I like a guy who isn't stuffy and boring. I like a guy who doesn't act his age because I sure don't.
