I wasn't dreaming. They're was a dark shadow hovering over me when I woke up. I blinked and rub my eyes to focuse and it was still there. I sat up in bed and it left. What was that??

You had a bad dream. Obviously your unconcious mind is trying to work out a problem.

It could be sleep paralysis, a brain seizure causing hallucinations, or any number of things easily explained by science.

Or...you could have a demonic spirit trying to mess with you. If that's the case, pray.

And don't play with a Ouija board!

It's just the devil using your body's imagination against you. Don't be afraid, he can't hurt you from outside.
He can only hurt you from inside(through fear and lies), and by manipulating people from inside them. He's not so scary, when you realize that he's our former boss. Revelation 12:7-9.

if youre certain that it really was a shadow, and not from being sleepy, then you probably do have some kind of paranormal activity in your house.

ecspecially if you notice other weird things happening in your house. ive learned that most spirits dont hurt you.. they just roam around your house. so i wouldnt worry about it too much :)
