Jewish rye bread, also known as Russian rye bread, or plain old rye bread with seeds, caraway seeds that is...i buy mine from Wal-mart, because they have their own rye bread with seeds they bake and its pretty darn good-- i am a Jewish Guy, born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in NJ, who really knows from rye bread.. most Jewish Delicatessen's will have rye bread with seeds..they may bake their own, or get it from a bakery, wholesale..i now live in the Dallas, ft.worth area, and the number of Jewish Delis and Bakeries have been declining, in recent yrs..Dallas has some good Jewish Delis left and even a few Bakeries left..the Ft. Worth area , i have not found any yet--i love a good hard-crusted Jewish Rye Bread that crunches when you bite into it--we call it a michaiya, a food that is divine, or heavenly-to die for..especially good with some hot corned beef or pastrami with spicy brown mustard..oh, yea-wow-heavenly...try any Jewish Deli's or bakeries that you can find..or Orowheat makes a very good Jewish Rye & a Russian Rye, both with caraway seeds..or try Wal-mart..they are everywhere..they make their own Rye bread with caraway seeds, its pretty good-not hard crusted, yet better than Pepperidge Farms and others that are all too soft to really be called a rye bread, yet they are rye breads, some with caraway seeds...good luck to you..i enjoyed your question...
