My family and I are travelling to Colombia South America to visit my wife's family. I know there is a departure tax per person to leave the country after visiting. Just curious, how much is it per person. If you can't find it for me then I can ask when I enter Colombia. Thank you very much

The airport departure tax is $23/$41 if you've been in the country for less than/more than 60 days.

Princess' answer sounds about right. You can pay in either Colombian Pesos or US Dollars, they'll take either at the counter, which is just across from the Check-in counters at El Dorado airport in Bogota.
