Actually, the Indians welcomed the Pilgrims but did not recognize ownership of land and had no laws governing immigration. Accordingly, none were broken.

The Pilgrims did not live in Indian towns, send their children to Indian funded schools and use Indian funded health care degrading those services for the Indians.

Today we subsidize education and services for the poor and only agree to subsidize so many poor foreigners. Those who come illegally are stealing those services.

History has nothing to do with it. However, the history of the countries illegal immigrants came from is no better than the history of the United States on these points.

Yes they did give permission to the first settlers, the Indians showed them how to plant corn and other things they also helped them get settled then they all had a big feast, you can read all about it on the Internet, if it wasn't for the Indians they would have starved to death, because of the winter. and you just described what the illegal aliens are doing right now entering where they don't belong and taking our social services when they haven't been invited. They just cross over with no regard for the laws of this country, and then fly their stupid Mexican flag, and tell us they have rights, they have no rights here, their invaders.

You know, most people believe that Christopher Columbus "discovered" America. But, by the time he made it to America, there were already tens of millions of First Americans (Indians) occupying the two continents of the Americas.

Another important fact, America is actually named after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian, who "discovered" a new land, still believed to be attached to Asia.

The Spanish dominated the New World for almost a century before English settlers arrived.

So, whose to say that America belongs to the white people. We are just the ones who had the ability to fight for it and win it by any means possible.

So, all this poppycock about Christopher Columbus that they teach us in school is another brainwashing by our forefathers.

Once upon a time there were human-beings who lived on this land, killed for their food, grew corn, and foraged for wild plants to eat. They lived in harmony with the earth and the earth was good. Times of war came in which they had to fight other tribes who encroached into their lands, hunting and sometimes taking what was not theirs. Tribals wars broke out. The Natives did not believe in land 'ownership', land was earth, it belonged to no one. But, they protected their hunting grounds from outsiders. Whiteman came to their lands. They saw them and did not know what they were. They were paleface and large. They watched them from hiding places. The whitemen did not know how to care for himself in the cold winters. Native people began to get closer to the whiteman. The natives realized the whiteman needed his help or they would die. Native man helped them until the winters were past. Then whiteman began to encroach on the native hunting grounds. Native man did not like that. They began to fight the whiteman. Whiteman had sticks of spitting fire which killed many native men. The whiteman made war on the native man. The whiteman was stronger with his weapons of fire. He gained control over the native man. Through war, native man lost his hunting lands. It was 'war'. Native man lost that war. It was not fair', it was not 'right', it was 'cruel'. That is how war was and still 'is'. It has never been and never will be "fair, right or humane". That was then. Now we come to this century. The 21st one. Many other wars have been fought since those days long ago. The Mexican-American War was fought and won by the United States. It is history.

Mex-Amer. War treaty:
On February 2, 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was signed, later to be ratified by BOTH the U.S. and Mexican Congresses. The treaty called for the annexation of the northern portions of Mexico to the United States. In return, the U.S. agreed to pay $15 million to Mexico as compensation for the seized territory.

You just can't CHANGE history. If you want another war, just say so. It won't be for CA, TX,NM,AZ or CO, we already have those. It'll be over pure stupidity. Just like hardheaded children, one whooping is just not enough. We will just have to offer up another lesson.

That was the way things were done back then, and don't fall for the myth of the noble savage. Like all other groups of humans, the aboriginal peoples of the Americas often fought each other for land, resources, and political power.

Correct, by today's standards it would have been horrible. Any intelligent, thoughtful person knows and understands that you cannot judge those from the past by today's standards. It was simply a different world and they had their own standards.
