Mary's bridal. My dress was sooo beautiful and the best part is that is was under 600.00 it was my dream dress. I see now that they have a matching flowergirl dress which they did not have when I got married 4 years ago. This dress is VERY well made and has so much elegant detail, but not too busy. You can see the front and the back corset at: You can actually have your local bridal store order it for you !

My mother-in-law made mine for me because my husband and I come from working-class backgrounds and neither side had money to contribute to the wedding. So he and I paid for everything and our families contributed with whatever skills they had. My MIL is an excellent seamstress and my dress was beautiful. It was floor-lenght white satin with no train (good thing because I almost fell over my dress on my wedding day anyway). It had a very modest v-neckline decorated with lace and beads that matched the hem and a stripe around my midsection. My favorite part was the lacey long sleeves--it was January in Iowa when we got married, so that was almost a necessity. Overall, it was a simple but lovely gown and it gave me a chance to get to really know my MIL.

My wedding dress was a lot like the dress the brides of
Dracula wore in the Universal studios film.
White with long, bell sleeves and an empire waist.
I was three months pregnant.
It had buttons all the way up the back.
Simple and elegant.

My dress is a two piece gown by Maggie Sottero. The name of it is Savannah.

Ivory color with red and clear crystals on the top and it tied up (like a corset) in the back, slightly off the shoulder. My skirt was pouffe with a red and ivory rose on the left side.
My dress came with a matching purse.

I'm getting married soon. My wedding dress is strapless and it has a short bolero jacket that has a short sleeve on it. It's white with crystal beads on the front, it has a long train, and the back has a criss-cross corset look. It's very slimming. I love it!!!

It was a Jessica McClintock - Antique Ivory Satin with a small Victorian style high collar, with a cameo pin beneath that one of my attendants made for me, Victorian Leg o' Mutton sleeves (puffy at the top with a small band of material to hold the shape, tapering into a deep reversed "v" {wide part toward the wrists}), a deep "V" dropped waist and a flared skirt going into a small train in back... worn over a hoop.

The bodice had a satin lace-like center and the sleeves and back had pearl buttons.

Not that you asked - but the price? $150.00

It was VERY long. It was sparkly all over. It had a heart shaped bust and sheer sleeves that came to a point on my hands. My veil was so cute it had sown pearls on it. I loved my dress!! I looked amazing in it. I miss that it was the last time I could wear it.

I got mine from Demetrios Bridal for $1800.00. It was simple, classic and unbelievably elegant. Floor length with a long train, diamond spaghetti straps and embroidary right above my ribs gave it a very Grecian look. It was sheath, empire waist, and simply perfect. I had a very long veil to go with it and that really made it incredible.
