easy--look att he question--the dad will ask--so how did you meet?---- and you answer honestly--however--you did not meet her online did you? you talked to her online--so describe how you met--when did you two actually see each other--how did you get there--what was the day like--how did you know each other--(oh i heard some people chatting about her-she sounded very nice--sweet cool--whatever-and i said i wanted to meet her--so it was arranged----the people chatting of course are you two-but you are not lying--you are telling the truth--)
so answer the question--
or 2nd option--before you meet dad--say to your girl--hey you know we met on line--its not very traditional--why don't we play act --and meet at the park or something and pretend its the first time---
if you do this--and you use it for something to be cocrete in a physical sense of how you first met--it is also a truth-- both will work-- an both are absolute truths
this is true
remember the word is meeting--not talking-
cheers

Dad's can be tricky to deal with.. however, don't lie to him because it will most likely in the end make things much worse. You don't want to start off your relationship (with the man that helps make the decisions as to wether or not she can see you) with a lie. My advice, is to meet him and be completely polite. If he see's how nice you are then maybe he'll learn to respect you and the fact that his daughter picked someone good.

there are no traditions that prohibit the way people meet
only the way they behave after meeting
iff any girls father wishes to meet with you it can only mean that she has spoken to him of you in a strong way
iff you have strong feelings for this girl ????? then you have nothing to lose by accepting an invitation
iff you are scared of accepting an invite --- then i have a doubt about your true feelings
this sounds like a very genuine and careing father to me
go and meet and respect him iff you really love his daughter ---- iff not --- dont play games
true people ----- love truly
do you truly love ?????
best wish for honest decision
yours in hope

You need to meet her dad. If you and her go out with out him knowing, there will be more problems for her. You should make the first move, this will make him think of you higher than others.

Run like hell if he has a shotgun in his hands. But seriously, meet him. Be respectful. Look him square in the eye and shake his hand firmly. Answer his questions honestly. In other words, be a man.

Meet him, probably. He will learn to deal with it. Just approach him as you would any girlfriend's dads, whether his views are very traditional or not...you should meet with him if your dearest girl wants it.
