I cannot get some of the things in yahoo mail, and else where to respond - I was told to uninstall, then reinstall. Can this work?

If you want to give up your Yahoo account, log in under the account you want to delete and just
go here to deactivate it: https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user

Well that doesn't make a lot of sense because Yahoo mail is an Internet based program not a software that rests on your computer.
You may have a virus. Run your virus checker. Make sure it is up to date first.

and might... unless the problem is in the OS.
To do it... go to CONTROL PANEL then add/remove programs, then choose yahoo, then uninstall.
