what else can you do? just wait. my mom has the same rule. its a bummer but you know what I figured out? its no fun but when I look at my friends who get asked out all the time...its not as easy and fun for them as it is for us. they have breakups and fights and choose between guys and all that drama. we just get to be friends with guys and flirt and not worry about the rest. we'll save the really fun...and hard stuff til we're older. and btw, im not talking about sex (sorry to be so blunt) because im saving that for marriage.
also do group stuff. if you think it'll help talk to her and tell her 16 isn't the magic age (but be careful she might make it 18) or ask her if the guy is a really good guy, will she allow it?

Talk to her about it...ask her what the problem is. Let her know that she can trust you...definitely don't go behind her back or the trust falls to pieces. Let her get to know the person you want to date so that she trusts them too.
Parents have been teenagers too...your mom should understand!

Respect your mom's rule. Besides, you're 16, and you have plenty of time later for dating.

Wait until you 16.
With dating comes a bunch of hassles you dont even want
to deal with right now.

I think you answered you own question, you are going to have to wait until your 16. There's nothing or no one out there that will change her mind

Go in groups. Find a bunch of friends, invite a special guy, and there you go! It's not exactly dating, but it might satisfy your want for it.

talk to her about it. tell her that you feel you are ready to date. but be careful not to turn it into a shouting match. a measningful dialog here should help.
