Oh, God. One time I wanted to break up with my bf because I just didn't want our relationship anymore, but he was a nice guy and I was too scared to tell him so; too scared of hurting him. So I made him believe that I had just found out that I had a tumor in my sternum and that I was told that I had an unspecified amount of time to live, so I wanted to enjoy being single while "still alive". He completely understood but broke down and started bawling for me...All I could think watching him destruct over the news was, "Oh Jesus, I'm going to Hell...I know it..." But eventually I told him the truth, once my plan backfired and he told my family the news...that was a pretty embarassing mess to have to clean up. Yeah, don't ever lie to avoid confrontation cuz believe me, it only gets worse!
