nigiri sushi- i didn't ever want to know what kind of raw fish i was eating but it was still good (and made me less afraid of it)

Not much of a seafood person, so when I was abroad we had a meal at an elegant restaurant which had as an appetizer caviar with some type of cheese on toast. Thought I wouldn't like the taste of caviar, but was I ever surprised. I loved it. Also liked calamari.

Yes. I did yesturday! I ate fried green tomatoes! they are so good... pick the tomato right before it starts to turn red. it will be a little pink at the top. slice it and coat it in corn meal mix and fry it in about 1 inch of cooking oil until brown! YUMMY
