If I could turn back the hands of time so I could be your child guinea pig, you could have years of tickling to accumulate your empirical data but, alas, I doubt that I would develop a studder (But I would have a happy childhood if the tickling was playful and enjoyable!)

Yes. There's no connection between tickling and speech problems.

However, if the child doesn't enjoy being tickled, you should stop.

Tickling too long is now considered child abuse. It's not fun for the child - so why do it?

I know if you tickle them (or anyone really) to long they might pee themselves.
