All I know is I'm Colombian (hispanic) and we love arepas in our culture but instead of using cheese from Colombia, I buy naturally crumpled Fetta cheese from....you guessed it Greece. So I think you might be on to something there. Or you guys just have amazing cheese. Oh and greek salads- thank you.

As far as I know, that a Greek and a Hispanic look like each other is possible, but not very usual.

If I get it right, Hispanics are people coming from countries in Latin America, not necessarily from Spain. If they come from Latin America, it's very common for them to have some Indian or African background or both.

Therefore, they are mostly racially mixed and often you can tell by their looks that they are not strictly European, although some may just look like one, if the Spanish or European lineage in them is the strongest.

Greeks are European and though it may be said to exist a certain Greek race with a few distinctive characteristics, they may often look like Italians, Spaniards, Turks, Southern Slavs, and even Semites.

So, depending on the background of your friend and on what lineage in her is the strongest, she may look like you.

Actually, I would rather say that she, as a Hispanic, happens to look like you, a Greek, but not the other way round.

If a greek look like a greek would the greek be like a greek or not look like a greek because the greek isn't really like a greek to look like a greek. This answer is as silly as was the question.

No I do not think so, as some of the skin tones might be similar, but the total bone structure is different, I am a portrait painter so I really study the bone structures of faces an body. Both nationalities have their merits though.

Yes because hispanics(from Puerto Rico, Cuba and Dominican Republic) have most of their ancestor from Spain which is very close to Greece enivromentally.

Not to be confused with Latinos(Mexican, Columbians.etc.) who have mostly South American Indians as their ancestors.
