This guy keeps pulling me back, but I have to get over him. I need help. I'm still around him alot, and I want to be his friend, but if I don't just get over him, then I will go mad with jealousy. I don't really have time for time to deal with it. Any other suggestions?

i've gone through the same situation...
the best way to get over him is simply talking to him...make his intentions clear. If the guy avoids talking to you or just doesn't tell what he really wants then he's a coward and isn't worthy enough to be your friend.
Going out with other guys is the other thing you can do...once you're with a guy who really deserves you, you won't even remember the other guy.
Hey...you can even do both!!

I would have to say that hanging around him is not going to help you get over him. Your best bet is push him off every time he calls or comes around. Tell you can't you have other plans, and start going out with other men and your single friends. Meet people go bowling do what you like doing. But, keep yourself busy.

you aren't going to get over him if your always around him. You have to expand your horizons chickie, hang out with some new people, change up your schedule, fill up your time with other things and other people that don't know him or hang out in different places. Give it some time and sooner or later you'll bump into him and you will notice the difference and it will b possible to just be friends....The way your going now, he's going to drain the life out of you, BUT you are allowing it to happen! your to young to be hung up on one guy! Go out and live!

Wow, it sound just like what I've gone through. I know that it's really hard to get over someone you've loved. You need to tell yous elf that you deserve better, and you need to believe it! Go and do stuff with friends so you can get your mind off of him. Keep your space with him for now, you need to not hang around him to much while you are trying to get over him. When you're over him then you can slowly start to hang out with him agian.Just tell yourself that its not worth it . Try to start dating other people. Go out with your friends. Do fun things that will keep him off your mind. Its going to be hard but it wasnt meant to be. Just try not to think about him. If you want to talk about it more you can always contact me. hang out with your girl Friends more. go shopping get manicures. Distance yourself until u are SO over him then talk to him about how you felt(make sure u ARE over him before you do this) about him then if he doesn't give you any weird looks after u finish talking then ask him to go 2 the movies with you and some Friends ( make sure u invite some of his pals to, HECK make a party out of it) then make sure he sees u flirting with other guys then you can just be PALS!

the best way to get over a guy is to just chill with ur friends and they will help through the rest ,but if that doesnt help then just try dating other people

i agree---date other guys and try to stay away from him cause it will only make you go mad! I know cause my ex is always around me and he is always asking me stuff i really don't want to discuss w/ him and it creates a hateful environment for us both.
