Whether or not it can be cured depends completely on the person. The only way to cure it is to continue to have patience and give your love, and eventually, the person may come around and instead of being a narcissist, he may actually become more sensitive and caring. You probably ended up with one because he probably has a very high self image, and that may have attracted you to him in the first place before you found out that he is a narcissist.
