It depends on how big the scars are.

Personally, it'll make me to protect you from any further harm. I'll be glad you're alive and you're here, and thank God that the car accident didn't break / scar your heart in any way. I see people with my heart and for who they are / how they are towards me. To be honest, I don't see any physical imperfections (as well as skin color or nationality) on anyone. I guess, being color-blind and "silly" (at times) has its major adventages.

In my opinion, you're perfect just the way you are regardless of any scars or imperfections that you know you might / do have. The right for you person will like / love and care for you for who you are deep down inside, and will overlook everything else.

If you love someone then you look past what is only skin deep. They maybe just the person that you have been looking for and why turn them away because of scars. Those scars are apart of the person not what makes the person.

Well scars are on the outside and you should look past the scars..I had a pool accident and had 22 stitches down the middle of my forehead and it is still visible but a reminder of how lucky i am to be alive...people who ask about it say it doesn't show too much but can tell i had some kind of accident...I still get plenty of guys asking me out regardless of it and say it doesn't bother them and it doesn't bother me cause i forget about it..most people do forget about scars on the outside cause we learn to live w/ it....scars on the inside are harder to live with cause it can be mentally damaging...take this person for who they are!!!

i definately would. ive grown up as the ugly ducking who never really grew up into a swan at all, but just became an ugly duck, so i know where you are coming from. the trouble with being like that is oftentimes, people are unable or unwilling to look past the physical, into the mental and emotional. in my lifetime, i have met a few, but they are few and far between. what i would suggest is find someone you like and let them get to know you. do not persue anything initially other than a mutual friendship. once he/she is able to see you for who you really are, he should be able to look past any physical blemishes and love you for who you are.

at first bad scars could freak someone out but personaly it woulndt bother me . I have a scare above my right eye from a trailer hitch falling on my head when i was 5. i dont even think about it, i dont know if anyone else thinks very much about it either.I guess its one of thoes things youve just got to be ok with and if someone else isnt, theres not much you can do.

I have the same problem, although it's not as severe as you make yours sound. I have had surgery and have two scars on my legs. One on my upper thigh and one on my lower leg. I wear shorts and I don't care. ;) My bf doesn't care, and most other guys that have asked me out don't care.

I have a scar on my face and it does impact on my dating life but I don't mind too much... It's up to the girl if she wants to date that kind of boy...

of course! when you care about someone it's THEM you care about and love. not how they look. and even if the scars showed i wouldn't care.
