Proud is never a good thing in love matters. Re-bouncer or not does not matter and should not affect the relationship when the feelings are real. If you still to proud to go forward and recover your relationship try to get as busy as possible, when time is available you think in stuff like feeling.

Well...I had a similar experience in a way...my gf & I had separated because she thought this "sensible/logical" due to the distance between our homes...
Thing was, be both knew we were perfect for each other, but this scared her because she had just divorced her ex, and wanted to explore life, not just get tied down straight away...
We had a miserable few months without communication, then one day she phone me on her mobile by accident. She had dialed Andy instead of Anna, one of her friends.
As soon as we spoke she knew we had to make it work somehow, and, after a long talk, then another, she arranged to come and stay with me for a month to prove her good intent.
That was 3 years ago, and although we are still living apart, neither of us have any regrets to try again. We love each other very much. So...try and speak to him. Tell him you were afraid. Tell him how you feel about him. Be honest, even though it frightens you. It cannot make you any more miserable. See what happens. Good luck!

You should call him right up and tell him what your feelings are and maybe he'll understand. If he truly loves you he'll understand
but if he doesn't and yells at you, He's not worth it a
and besides there are more fish in the sea.
Also, for healing wounds you should ask him to meet
at a movie, or dinner. Something like that may make him
feel more comfortable around you. Don't worry that he'll
say no. If he says no just say: "Sorry for wasting your time."
And hang up- Do not cry. Take this advice and you'll be a couple again.

Men aren’t “supposed” to seek out advice on how to get women or ask their friends how do I get a girl. We don’t sit around analyzing each other’s relationships. Still, picking up beautiful women is a skill that anyone can learn with enough time, practice, and access to the right resources. Read here https://tr.im/rGh5I
There is a ton of stuff ( to help you get started. Sometimes the techniques go against “conventional wisdom” or what seems to work in movies and romance novels. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try them – they DO work and they are a huge advantage over the competition.
