It can and is but I wouldn't recommend it. I have dealt with many children with the names of boys. Now let me go into more details, the ones with common both sex names were not as effected by it, as in Jamie or Ashley, but it was the ones who had the uncommon boy names that seemed to have emotional problems. Many were teased as children or just hated being mistaken as a male by their name. This of course is up to you and if you bring your child up to not care what others say and to love their name then good luck and I wish you the best

What's name as Shakespeare said. Similarly what is in name to associate with gender. This is we who have made names gender biased else where in rule book it is written no Susan can only be girl name and Tom is boy.

In India Sikhs are most liberal in this they take any name and put Kaur in last to make it Girl name and put Singh to make it boy name.

So enjoy and why make it Kytler Kaur and then no one can question on gender of the name.

Any name can go any way... My daughters name is Tylar... you just have to remeber that growing up there may be some confusion if it is a unisex name... I went to school with a girl named Michael
