just start peeing around the perimeter of your yard

Mark it with your scent that'll tell the coyote to bug off.

call you local natural resuorces dept. they will refer you to a trapper ... too dangerous to try yourself and it may be illegal in your area - keep the cats inside at night , at- least

this really isn't a do it yourself type thing...call animal control
