Waxing is alot smoother, last longer and hurts alot!

Waxing pulls the hair out at the roots. If you do it often enough it could kill / damage the hair folicules thus making less hair grow back. This i have learned from experience. However, if you go with facial or bikini waxing DEFINITELY have it done by a pro and check the temp of the wax first. It is not very pleasant to learn these lessons the hard way, I've read (and thankfully never found out the hard way). Also if you are taking acne meds like Retin-A or Accutane, you don't want to wax unless you have a VERY high pain tolerance. Acne medications can change your skin and make waxing very painful. Cosmopolitan Magazine has a lot in it's archives about waxing.

Waxing pulls the hair out at the root. Shaving simply cuts it. Waxing is *much* more painful, although it lasts longer. The other big problem with waxing is that you have to wait for your hair to grow in until you can do it again, leaving you with pretty raunchy stubble.

Shaving cuts hair at the surface and waxing pulls it out from the root. When you wax, hair grows back way slower then shaving

Shaving works just as well (most of the times), but the hair comes back a lot stiffer/thicker. Waxing hair keeps it from growing back longer.

Waxing may hurt but it lasts way longer and it makes your legs look sexy-er. When you shave you can get big ugly cuts, which hurts longer then getting a wax.

waxing lasts longer and actually after you do it enough times you can tell a difference in the way the hair grows back. Almost as if its tired of being waxed out constanty

because when you shave the hair grows back faster and when you wax it pulling the hair out that's why it better to wax your eyebrows then to shave

I hear ya!! I hate waxing-the dif is when you wax it takes a lot longer for the hair to come back-that is about it!
