By voting the Republicans out of office and electing
right thinking people. Bush doesn't think there is a
problem with Global Warming. He is the Disaster.

We must replant all forests immediately and stop clear cutting the forests.

I don't use my car very often any more.

My biggest contribution is in letting everyone know
that they should either read the book "An Inconvenient
Truth" by Al Gore. Or go to see the Movie by the same name. I've done both and recommend it to anyone.

The earth is a powerful planet that will make a disaster out of us when the time comes. The earth has survived hits from comets, ice ages and various types of solar radiation. Rephrase your question and ask how we can avoid us becoming a disaster.

By creating a life of respect for ourselves, and the environment around us we live one with the planet one person at a time. There is nothing we humans can create that is not of this earth and even our most powerful bombs do not compare to Mother Nature when she decides to "clean up." The only disaster is the one environmentalists create trying to scare people by giving them more credit than is due.

Stop eating dead animals. It's inefficient. Get rid of your car. Stay at home and work from your computer and have everything delivered to you. Ban golf. Turn the Interstate Highway System in the US into a conduit for transportation of goods and ban private automobiles from using it. Force retail establishments to sell everything by cataloge order., Subsidize the purchase of the PC so that everyone can afford one. The US is 80% of the problem.

And v do all sorts of things, recycling, organising rallies etc. but mowadays people don't have time for anything. In my school we celebrate a special week called Vanamahotsava during which evry student plants 3 trees.

Well, you can clean up litter. Try to encourage the stopping of smoking, alchohol usage, marjuana, pot exc... You can also help homeless familys that need food so they do not starve. I will try I already clean up litter. And have helped homeless people. But I have never encouraged the stop of drugs because I have never been in the situation where I could actually tell that to someone. Good Luck.

first get rid of all these tree huggers, than stop blaming the united states for all of these problems. lets look at the rest of the world ... china has huge industries Russia has older submarines with nuclear reactors just sitting rusting away. i can go on and on.yes we can help the environment. lets not just do it here, it has to be reasonable first and not such giant steps that it changings our lives or economy so fast that it does more harm than good...

yes i drive suv's 3 of them but i really dont think they are ruining our planet. and by the way i feel safer in them than i would in a geo metro... yes i will help, but not by doing dumb stuff that takes away my freedoms and my ability to protect my family and me... they will always come first not to mention my country .. The United States
