They are a mix between pug, ?shih tzu? and something else im not sure what. About 6lbs full grown has long hair and they call them a chinese lion dog. any info on web sites for them. thanks

Yes, there is a lion dog....Its of chinese origin and is very small, has a mane and hairy end to its tail like a lion. . I dont know the website name but if you search for the official Kennel Club site, you should then be able to type in the name of the breed and come up with a list of reputable breeders. Good luck!
p.s. Did you know there is also a Portugese water dog? It looks like a poodle but has a naked body, except for a little fur around its head and tail. (saved drying it i suppose)!!! just thought you may be interested if you like unusual looking dogs!

The only dogs I've ever heard referred to as ''Chinese Lion Dog"......is the Chow Chow, and the Shih Tzu.

The only dog I have heard referred to as a lion dog is a Lowchen. The are bigger than 6 lbs though, maybe 15 or so.

I'm pretty sure that is the Lhasa Apso.
I own a Shih Tzu. So I think that's it.
