between al Quada and Hussain, and nothing was found. Since this is so important to our decision to attack Iraq, why is it not a higher priorty item for public consumption?

(And I know about the Afgan who told of the connection, under torture in Egypt, and later recanted.) This doesn't count.

nashbridges6788 states today, "The Connection", by Stepen F. Hayes contains the definitive answers to "their connection".

Has anyone else read this book? If so, please give us some input on what you think about the matter.

I'm certainly interested in reading it myself, to find out the truth.

There was no connection. Seems everyone knew that but the Bush Administration. Oh, they'll keep looking though ... I suspect untill they can make something else up.

Never been happy about a war started on the basis of, "Well, could be Rabbit. Could be." Says a lot for Cartoons.

CNN has a left-wing bias in their news reporting. They are always trying to find fault with our government officials. The US invaded Iraq for very many reasons. There were 14 UN resolutions that Hussein ignored. Just a few days ago Senator Rick Santorum got the government to declassify some documents. The US has found 500 mass destruction weapons in Iraq, since 2003. How much of that did you find on CNN? Remember the left-wing mantra: Bush lied about WMD's? Don't get confused about "any" connection between Hussein and Al Queda. There may not have been a connection that involved the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

I guess 9/11 had no impact on you but even when I visited NY in December of last year (2005) every restaurant and most businesses still had signs up saying "we will always remember" and maybe you are happier choosing to believe your made up beliefs of why we went to war but if you ever really want to know the truth you will find it if you just open your eyes and get out of your little bubble and start demanding the media report the truth and stop hiding the truths for their own agenda...why not ask the real question...why does the media hide all the finds and all the connections...if you're scared of a God-fearing man like Bush...be very afraid because the media is anything but and they do not report the truths...I have emailed them and questioned why I have access to reports and finds and it doesn't make the news headlines but they do not respond and they respond for everything...try it. What is their agenda? Who should be feared more? The same people who don't want anything to do with God or anything of God think they should go to heaven to be with him forever if he' a loving God...he gives us a choice and if you don't pick him here now why would he make you go with him for eternity...? So to answer your question, People really don't care about the truth and just want an excuse to complain.

There are government officials, such as Richard Clark, who have come forward with the information that Bush told his cabinet he wanted to invade Iraq and to "find him a reason" ON HIS THIRD DAY IN OFFICE. There are White House memos and documents to evidence this meeting. This, like the recent CNN report, is not being highly publicized for two reasons. The first is that the administration is constantly spinning damage control to try and sweep news like this under the rug. The other reason is that a vast number of Americans are uneducated, uninformed and sadly, uninterested when it comes to political headlines so they don't give these things the attention they deserve.

Wow, I have an answer that I just sent that can work for your question, so I'll paste it here:

The media is controlled by the Zionist lobby, that's why so much is left out.

Did you know that that the Osama Bin Laden is not wanted on the FBI "most wanted list"? Do you know why? The FBI did not find hard evidence linking Bin Laden to 9/11. Check the following article: www.informationclearinghouse.i...

Also check this article: www.rense.com/general72/sisi.h... - it says: Israelis Hold Keys To NSA/US Military Computer Networks

There is so much shocking news out there on the net that is really scary. Another web site is the French Connection - Daryl Smith - www.iamthewitness.com/DarylBra...

You may want to check out these sites. Look up the topic you want in the archives or through search, but be prepared for shocking information. Good luck!

See?! Once again...you don't have the facts, but you want to condemn the Bush administration...

I distinctly remember Colin Powell stating before the UN General Assembly that there was no confirmed connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda, and that any supposed connection was not being used as a basis for going to war. This was well prior to the invasion.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers that.

Hey buddy, do yourself a favor and for one realize that CNN is a liberal news outlet!

After you get that through your thick head, try to consume the knowledge from this book - The Connection by Stephen F. Hayes.

This is a complete outline of multiple incidences where Bin Laden and the towel-wearing Taliban were in cahoots with Saddam!

Can you honestly believe anything that CNN says? All of you libs out there are making up stuff as you go along, and then changing your answers once we conservatives prove against it. You'd think that by now people like you would've realized that. If Pres. Bush took your advice we'd be blown to smithereens. I'd change the channel to FOX news if I were you. At least it's not a steaming pile of buffalo pucky.

Well Charly, a quick look at your information, Q&A's and then this Q leads me to believe that no answer here will change your opinion on the subject.

May I assume that you also believe that most conservatives, "red-staters" and supporters of America's efforts to install democratic government and oust a treacherous dictator in Iraq are misguided, gullible, conspiracy-swallowing, hayseed, uneducated, bible-thumping morons who love George Bush, big business, high oil prices and Hummer SUV's? (did I cover it all?)

Oh how we wish for the sophistication and intellectual prowess of the chosen few!

But we can only admire from afar...we will never be as aware of the secrets of what's going on in the world as the priveleged cognescenti.

Oh ENVY!!!

Seems to me, a while back, I was watching the bombing of Irag when a little known fact made the news......seems there was a
training camp in the north of Iraq that we tried to bomb the hell out of...gee, why would we do that? Maybe we found a training camp for bad guys and you want me to believe that Hussain knew nothing about it. He ruled that country with an iron fist.
You rely on CNN for your news.....bad choice !
