hi i m interested to create a webpage on tourism ...just wondering is it illegal to cut- copy-paste from other copyrighted websites ..but most of history, culture related information i can get is only from internet ..then how cud i add such info on my website? i am beginner in website creation too.. i know it will take a long time to learn and put everything on right place ..but i m determined to do this. but all i need are some good suggestion about creation , online marketing of my website and how can i make money from this website. any suggestion related to this thing are most welcome

It's totally illegal to copy and paste information from other websites, ESPECIALLY if you're making a profit from that information. The writer could sue you for all the money you made from your site. I suggest that you start with a website about tourism in your hometown, and/or places that you have already traveled to. Then you can discuss your own experiences and give your insight and suggestions to other tourists. When your page becomes really popular, you can sell advertising space. The best way to get a popular page is to have ORIGINAL, CREATIVE content- not just "cut and paste" stuff.
