I need a recipe for grape ice cream - this is for five-year-olds, so it must taste like grape candy or grape soda, not like concord grapes. Thank you!

Ingredients
1 12oz can frozen grape juice concentrate,thawed
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
1 pint light cream or half and half
2 cups milk
Directions
Dissolve sugar in grape juice and add lemon juice. Combine cream, evaporated milk and cream or half and half. Pour mixture into a 1 gallon ice cream freezer and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.

Start with a vanilla ice cream base, in your ice cream maker. Add some Shasta Cola brand Grape soda or some grape juice.

I would suggest getting grape extract that you would use to make suckers. Add it to you favorite recipe for ice cream but be sure to leave out the vanilla flavoring.
