Adobe has a free picture organizer, Photoshop Album. I'm not sure about your reference to a Calendar type. (don't forget about the free and easy spell checker)

Adobe Reader 7.0 does it all and it is free just type
adobe reaeder in the address window on your browser and it will take you there to download
