ok, first off I breed great danes and if you had any idea how much research I did before I even considered it you would be dumb founded. breeding related dogs is not something to play with there is something called in-line breeding which can be done but it skips 3 generations, the only reason you would do this is if you have a dog whose traits are very desirable for the breed (not yourself), and even then it would take awhile to actually accomplish this you would have to have the original dog (male or female) that you started with, they would have to have puppies, one of those puppies would have to have puppies, then you could breed one of those puppies with the original dog you started with. I still would not advise doing this but by breeding a brother and sister you will have dogs that are retarted, deformed, or have some major anger problems. So when you have a puppy with a 5th leg growing out of it's forhead just remember you're the one that did something irresponsible and when you can't sell the puppies or even give them away don't give them to the pound keep them as a reminder on the way you impacted those poor things lifes.

Unfortunately, yes you can, and also unfortunately AKC WILL register them. Should you breed them? No! They are too closely related. Not only could you, but you will most likely end up with some puppies with serious problems. This is the way careless breeders get their puppies smaller and smaller. Each generation of inbred puppies gets smaller and smaller resulting in what they call "teacup"! What they don't tell you is although the skeletal system gets smaller and smaller, the vital organs like heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and brain stay the same size. That is why you have so many tiny dogs that have seizures. Their brains outgrow their skulls. Just like a person who has a serious head injury, pressure from the swelling causes seizures. Although I am against all kinds of breeding within family members. The safest way to breed related dogs which are totally free of ANY abnormalities of any kind is cousins. This is called line breeding and is accepted by all kennel clubs. Their Idea is breeding champions to champions to get champions and they do this by keeping it all in the family. Look at any pedigree of a champion dog, you will find line breeding everywhere! Am I against it. YES! Even though you are less likely to get deformed puppies years and years of line breeding results in high strung, snippy, aggressive dogs, that people like me have to try to groom.
Please don't breed them.

that's a definite no!!!! the genetics of the two dogs are too similar, and will affect the puppies!! the puppies will have some bone deformation, health issues, and some may not live very long at all!! they most likely will suffer! DONT DO IT IT'S WAY TOOOOOO RISKY!!! breed dogs that arent that closely related!!! but overall it's a better idea not to breed at all, that can cause diseases, and there is already an overpopulation of dogs, causing dogs tobe put to sleep for no reason, and for dogs to be abondoned,

Not a good idea.
You should probably learn more about dogs before you attempt something like breeding.
There's alot to know about responsible breeding other than how much you can sell the pups for.

That is inbreeding. You could try I suppose but it could result in many medical issues for the dogs.
