Why do christians always wear a cross all the time?

Dont they have a life? Why do they gotta shove it in everyones face that there a christian like anyone is suppose to care and think there so great? Why are they proud to show everyone they believe in myths? If someone starts arguing with someone wearing a cross about there pathetic fake religion just remember they brought it on themself for wearing that

It's a reminder of their faith. I wore a crucifix (a cross with a man on it) for years before LaCroix (famous French fashion designer) took his name and made the cross a "must have dahlink" for the fashion conscious. Not only Christians wear crosses nowadays.

I am Christian and do not wear a cross. Non the less - I fail to see how someone else simply wearing a piece of jewelry is forcing anything on you. Maybe you should seek counseling or something.

I find some pentagram jewelry offensive but it never had the horrifying effect the cross seems to have on you. Maybe you're demon possessed? Must be. I still fail to see how anyone wearing a cross is starting an argument or getting in your face.

Seek help before you totally lose your sanity (if its not too late).
Better yet, seek Jesus. It could be you're inwardly desiring Jesus and you're fighting against your own better sense, trying to rationalize something that doesn't make sense. I mean really - getting so bent over jewelry.

Sounds like you need prayer most of all. The question should be to your self is. Why am I so angry at God? I use to hate Christians to because they all think they are better than everyone Else an there all that personality. Well now that I am 1 I can tell you this. The smile on my face is not for you. Its knowing where I go when I die and that someone died for me so I can be forgiven of my sins and know for a fact that there is hope and 1 day be with my Creator to worship him. I am finally happy and you can be too. Its like right now you are a deep well but no water,whats the use of that so you are on the defense of life. Let your well fill up with the Holy Spirit and feel like there is a purpose for you and be happy. The ones who wear crosses are to remind them selfs who they are and what is important to themself. The cross has nothing to do with Christ, he died on a stake. In the original scrolls it say XYLON (Greek) meaning TREE. The 'Cross' got it's origin from Chaldea (Babylon) it was used as the symbol of the god Tammuz,all they did was to drop the top lower, The cross did not come into being until after the 3rd century AD. If your loved one had been shot and killed, would you wear it as a symbol round your neck, no of course you wouldn't, it just shows how many hypocrites there, are both in the churches and members of the public who profess to be Christians. They make my blood boil. I follow the Bible, you can't go wrong with that

I too am a Christian and don't wear a cross. Why do non-Christians post generalizations on Yahoo Answers all the time? Why do non-Christians always argue with people who wear crosses? Why don't non-Christians get a life??

We wear crosses to remind us that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us. He saved us from sin, and I AM proud of that. I do not believe that he is a myth. I know He's real. I don't shove my religion in other people's faces--I just want to spread the Good News that we have been redeemed by Jesus Christ.

I wear a cross ring to remind me to stay pure in my relationships and keep God first. It is a reminder to Me. not to anyone else. And that is a sterotype.. Not all Christians will shove their belief down your throat. I don't. I respect the fact that you don't believe what I believe. Don't go around saying that "we don't have a life" because some of us wear a cross necklace or ring or have it on their shirts. It just plain stupid and idiotic. Thank You.

do you have a life? why are you shoving your opinions in our faces? why should christians care about how you feel? why are you so proud to say you don't believe in God? and for religion being pathetic and fake at least i have religion. at least one day i will go to heaven. I'm a christian and i wear a cross, but it is very rarely on view, i keep it under my clothes.

In all faiths and walks of life there are people who take it to an extreme, who force their opinions on other people. People who 'shove it' in your face.Those kinds of people give the rest of us a bad name.

I have found that the people who most 'shove it' in peoples faces are wannabe teenage pagans who wear all kinds of paraphernalia, such a pentagrams etc.

I was given a poem as a child which sums it up for me...

Its not for identification
for all the world to see
its simply an understanding
between my Savior and me.

when i put my hand in my pocket
to pull out a coin or key
the cross is there to remind me
of the price he paid for me.

so I'll carry a cross in my pocket
reminding no-one but me
the Jesus Christ is lord of my life

Why do people like u re always complaining about everything especially Christians? Do u not have a life outside u computer desk? We are better than those who live in sin and continue daily!
