The true definition of death is brain death. Once you're brain dead you are not coming back, ever. Your heart can stop, but as long as your brain is still alive you can be resuscitated. That has happened to me. My heart stopped for five minutes on the operating table, but I was resuscitated.

Yes, I have. I always thought it would be scary, but there was no pain when it should have been and very, very peaceful. I would not have minded staying. I can honestly say that the fear is only from the unknown. I could also feel and hear loved ones that had passed on before me. It just wasn't my time and I was sent back literally by the Hand of God. I saw it, and heard His voice say "GO BACK! My spirit went back into my body and I sprung upward with my mouth wide open inhaling as my life force re-entered my body.

Gee, guys, as a cardiologist, I help rescusitate people who die all the time. What? Are we doing CPR just for fun?

But I've only had one patient tell me about a near death experience. He says it was remarkable. He wanted to stay, but had no choice and was sent back. And I won't give anymore details, as he told me this in confidence and I don't want to violate his trust.

No, no one has ever died and brought back to life. Anyone who tells you different is either lying, or simply wrong.

(b.'s boy) yes. and it hurt. heroin o.d. dying didnt hurt just returning. this is more of a short story than a simple answer. but i'll try. spheres of energy, and communication with the other spheres was thru emotion rather than speech. 360 "vision"!!! the only word i have for that sense is vision, but its not adequate. hearing was on a, more like you could just feel and "read" vibrations. then there was light (it was all dark first) like the light of predawn. and the other spheres told me i had to go, that i couldn't stay just yet. i was upset. they were amused. and i went rushing back down to my physical matter. no one knows how long i was gone before my friends found me, but i was known dead at the hospital for like 20 min. can't wait to go back.

Jesus said, "those who hate their lives will keep it for ever."

I think this takes us to the idea of coming back over and over again until we do the right thing. The problem is, that most of us are not able to remember in details or in pieces--for that matter--what we were once before.
