maybe because they feel that pda is distracting to students and the teachers and principals feel that they mush "enrich the learning experience" by having a school which is only focused on education and not promoting distractions
but otherwise.. we should all ask the schools..

Perhaps for the same reasons many people are "uptight" about pda
1. they grew up differently, thinking it's rude to neck in public.
2. they believe that teens are oversexed, and that pda is the gateway to riskier behavior
3. their definition of pda is different from yours (ie, I don't mind the occasional kiss, touch, hug; but the dry hump in the parking lot has to stop!)
4. because you're there to learn things much more important than who's hot for you
5. because you're parents might be uptight about it and they are your guardians while you are in their building
6. I'm assuming it's middle/high school we're talking about here and add: because they aren't convinced you are ready to deal with all the emotional, physical, and psychological consequences of an intimate relationship and if they can't see you doing anything, then you're not doing anything (at least they hope not)

They are not. Most people who practice are just ignorant about what reason the institution of higher learning is designed. BTW-welcome to the 21st century PDA has more than one meaning. So I guess it's ironic that someone as S*L*L*L*O*O*O*W as you would use the term retarded.

Just because you like to do it doesn't mean everyone else wants to see it. They are protecting the people who are grossed out by other people face sucking and madly waving tongues. Hey I like to do that stuff as much as any one else. But it's just gross to see other people do it. So, get a room or go somewhere private. It's just like smoking in public. I'm not against you doing it, just don't do it in front of me. Hey, I enjoy a good fart as much as any one else or a good dump. But I won't make you a part of that or make you watch.

Well, lets start by saying it is inappropriate and disrespectful. Not to mention you are in School, and you acting like that is affecting others. It is disgusting, I personally did not like to see anyone sucking face in the hallways.

School isn't a social occasion, it's your job. You aren't there to play, you're there to work. Get used to the the idea that there is business life behavior and private life private behavior, and it's not acceptable to bring private behavior to work.
