My sisters boyfriends brother was dumped by his ex 7 months ago after a 2 year relationship. He was ready to propose to her and was deeply hurt. I've known him for about 2 months now and in that time we have become quite close. He opens up to me and confides in me. He has said that i'm not like other girls and he really feels he can talk to me. When we have all been on a night out he always walks me home and he even stayed over one night. Nothing happened he just held me all night. I'm so confused. I have such strong feelings for the guy but it seems so wrong. He's my sister's boyfriends brother - should this be an issue? Is he on a rebound? Should i tell him how i feel?

Considering everything you have posted, I believe you should honestly not tell him just yet. He might be on a rebound, and its just not the time to try anything. Be a friend to him, but don't take it any further. You have feelings for him but do you honestly want to take the chance and get hurt by this guy when he says its not like that and he just wants to be friends. The age-less line of "I just got out of a long relationship, and I don't think I'm ready", you'll feel embrassed after that I'm sure of it. And just cause he is your sister's boyfriends, brother doesn't make it bad or an issue. But definitly don't tell him how you feel untill there is like 2 to 3 months after today, if the feeling are still there, I mean.

In all honesty I believe that keeping these feelings bottled up inside of you will become a problem. You'll start to hang out with him and become uncomfortable because you care for him. He is on the rebound, so that will create a problem also. People believe that "those on the rebound" look for someone to "take their pain away". I would say, continue to be there for him. He needs a shoulder to cry on. Do not wait forever to tell him! Just don't tell him now.

If you waited, you could possibly lose him and end up regretting that you didn't tell him.

He is probably on the rebound, and now is not the best time for you to tell him of your feelings. Usually the girl or boy that goes out first with someone on the rebound, ends up on their own, when they come out of their funk.
Just be there for him and wait until he is ready and sees what he has in you. It may take some time, so be patient.

There's nothing wrong with your interest in this guy. He's possibly feeling something for you as well but I say wait. Some things don't need to be said right away or said at all, for that matter.

Continue going out and cuddling. That's the fun stuff. Enjoy the fun stuff.
