Fear in the Bible is translated as reverence, not terror. Understand?

As a child loves his parents he does things to make them pleased and as a result the child will receive some reward even if it's just a smile or a hug. In turn the child feels good.

But if the child does something they know to bring displeasure to the parents, then he becomes afraid to face them.

Have you ever felt that way?

Just replace the words child and parent with man and God

The word 'fear' is misinterpreted. To fear God does not mean to be scared of, but to respect his'power' and what he is capable of doing. here are many nutters i agree. There is only one religion who fears God in the right way. These people are looking forward to his wrath, it will mean an end of misery, poverty, illness and death. It's a long story, to long to explain here. His name in the original Greek,Hebrew scriptures is Yahweh/Jehovah and it is disrespectful to call him God. There are three gods-Satan,Jesus and Jehovah. Two are small gods. The nutters who are afraid don't understand what his purposes are, I tell them to read the Bible and then you will understand.

I want to know the answer to that too. It doesn't make sense to me. I know God loves me and doesn't want me to fear anything, especially Him.
