Squatting, your blood flow is somewhat restricted. Then when you stand up quickly, inertia causes the blood in your head to flow to the lower parts of your body & it takes a minute for your circulatory system to get the blood redistributed correctly again. The spots are from oxygen deprivation since the circulation to your head is momentarily impaired.
Vertigo is generally an issue with the inner ear and is not affected by changes in blood flow.

I agree with "the all know". It is a blood rush. You may squat for a while and stand up, but you must very slowly. All the blood settles from your waist down and you stand up to fast and get the blood flowing throughout your body too fast. If you try againg slowly and still feel dizzy, drink lots of water, rest, and then call your doctor. you may also need to eat something sugary to boost up your blood sugar. God bless!

For a short period of time less blood is able to make it to your brain which causes those sensations. Try standing up more slowly. It's nothing to worry about.
BTW, it's *not* vertigo. Vertigo is dizziness caused by an inner ear issue.

You are experiencing postural hypotension. This is a rapid decrease in blood pressure due to standing up too quickly. This can become severe enough to pass out and possibly injure yourself. I am a only a pharmacist but I am sure this is what you are experiencing. There are some medications that cause this. If you are taking any medications, go to WebMD and see if Postural Hypotension is listed as a side effect. But in the mean time to avoid this, avoid getting up quickly. Take your time - whatever it is, it can wait a couple seconds. Best of luck.

Low blood pressure, basically. It's not a bad thing, unless you actually get so dizzy that you lose balance, fall and injure yourself. Low blood pressure overall is more preferable to have than high blood pressure.

It is called orthostatic hypotension, usually a sign of youth and low blood pressure. If you don't actually lose consciousness, should not be problematic. Enjoy your youth and good health and try and find something else more worthy to worry about.

Have you checked your blood pressure?
If it's too low, you can get dizzy.

Blood rushing to your head or other areas where blood was but is now there in large numbers. It disperses the blood and oxygen that your body was used to so you get the dizy effect.
