It depends on the bad thing...I have done many bad things in my life and few are remembered, by me....but I ran into a buddy after 40 years and he remembered things I had forgotten and still do not believe I did....it is how people perceive you....and if they have a perception of you as a mischievous person and you do nothing, they remember nothing but I f you do one thing to justify their perception they will remember it forever

because they have a self esteem issue. the person who only remembers the bad that others do has a problem with themselves and to make themselves look better they point out the bad and never let u live it down.
