I find that dedication, insight, and hard work tend to solve mine better than my imaginary friends. Harvey is a hoot, though.

absolutely prayer changed everything for me on several occasions. There have been times when I couldn't find a solution to a problem on my own and by praying about it I found the solution. I have felt so sinful and then prayed to the God of my understanding and found redemption and forgiveness. I can feel anxious about something and pray about it and find relief.

I feel a few of mine have been solved by prayer, Others solved because of the direction I decide to take after prayer, but none I have would convince you.
There have been a few times that I was scared for one reason or another I prayed for comfort , sometimes about 5 minutes after my prayer someone would be there to comfort me and sometimes I can't explain what I felt but I was being comforted without anyone near .I hope that you don't have people ridicule you as your are ridiculing my beliefs in God and I also hope you live a wonderful life with your family, have a great day.

Yes prayer does work, and God is very real.

Here's an example of a prayer that was just answered for me:

I prayed for a job, I believed with all my
heart that I would get one. ..

I woke up the very next day...the phone rung,
and it was a representative of a company I
applied for a long time ago. They wanted me
to come in for an interview on Monday afternoon.

If you obey God, and believe what you pray...
your prayers will be answered for sure.

After my parents abused drugs and abused me physically/mentally/psychological and I suffered through stage V acne which left me with deep facial scars I stopped running and let Jesus into my life, the symptoms of the clinical depression which I was being treated for and that I had had for two years vanished overnight, which is medically impossible.

I pray that you find Jesus; asking this question tells me that you have not yet quit the search.

yes, of course praying solves our problems, especially problems that we can't fix....example, if someone hates us....we can't do anything about that....but we can pray to GOD....the answer may not immediately come to us, but it will in time....of course with things that we want that we can work for, we have to work for it as well....example, like getting a job.....we have to pray, but we also have to apply for jobs.....we ask GOD to touch the hearts of the employers to hire us....and also to give us a job that He wants us to have.....yes, dedication, insight, and hard work solves problems and prayer does to....GOD is not an imaginary friend, He is real.....prayer is not only asking for things, it is also spending time with GOD, talking to Him, and building a relationship with Him.....your life will be better if you let GOD direct you....trust me, i've tried it without Him....

I find that my day goes much better when I spend some time with God at the start of the day.

I suspect that praying helps people to concentrate on the problem and to think out a solution for themselves.

YES!!! Time and again. I've seen God intervene in my life too many times to ever doubt Him. Taste and see that the Lord is Good.
