The Muslim months are lunar. The month begins by watching the crescent. The Jewish month also coincides with the Muslim months, but the Jewish calendar is adjusted to the solar system, so that every few years a month is added to bring the months back in accordance to the seasons.

Muslim lunar calendar allows the fasting month of Ramadan fall in different seasons and for different regions. If it was a solar month, then the fasting months would always come at a comfortable or uncomfortable time for various parts of the globe.

Besides the Lunar month can be celebrated across the region as the crescent shines right on the heavens, so everyone can know when the month began and the moon keeps a tab of the days. Usually you can tell what part of the month it is, by simply looking at the sky. Thus the whole sky becomes a Muslim calendar.

Moon god is BS.. (BS means BAD STUFF..lol). There is no such thing in ISLAM. We believe in the ONE LORD ALMIGHTY.

YOu need to go fight with your sibling if he or she calls your mom Mama and you call her mom or mum or mummy or whatever. What we call the lord does not really matter. HE KNOWS who we are calling and we know who we are calling, so you dont worry about names.

They witnessed a meteor strike the crescent Moon long ago. The star symbol is not a star, it's the light from the impact.

On this image, a real star would be blocked by the Moon, see?

I find massive irony here. Muslims claim that Christian symbols are pagan symbols - but all the while, there's is a pagan symbol that comes from ancient Egypt.

Muhammad rescued an idol (allah) from the Kaaba and worked his religion around this pagan diety.

Christians however used secret symbols (fish, cross, etc) not as holy icons but so they would know who was and wasn't a Christian. Christians at the time were underground because of massive persecution thus forced to find a means to connect with other Christians. Think of it as a secret agent password so to speak.

One day persecution will return and new symbols or other tactics will have to be used.

No it's not because they worshipped a moon god or anything....but they do follow a lunar calender. The crescent signifies a new beginning.

Yes sir. Its in the history books. By the way during the dark ages, the inquisition that lasted about twenty years, only 3,000 to 4,000 died. That's a fact, also in the history books and the crusades were meant to protect Christian coming to Isreal from nomads of the east. True, in the history books.

Question

How many people died in Syria two years ago? How many died in Libya two years ago. Check it out and ask what's wrong with the math of yesterday and the math of today. Who really is the problem. Oh and by the way. The moors tried to conquer Europe by way of Spain a thousand years ago. Why?

the moon is not the "Light" but reflects the true light. Therefore, Islam is a false interpretation of the true light "the bible/jesus."
