my ex and i dated for 2 years and he was my first love and the guy that changed me forever. but alas it was over and he's married now with a baby. i fell in love with my bf right now and we were great. until my ex called me a few nights ago. he says he just needs an ear because he doesnt want to be thinking about all the problems that are going on in relationship right now. so i talked to him and it brang back all our memories and he says he's getting a divorce and that he regrets leaving me and etc. my bf doesnt know about any of that but he's pissed that im talking to him. i love my bf with all my heart but i know that i will always love my first love like they say. should i give him a chance or stay away?

I know how hard it is when it is your first love. I married my high school sweetheart and we have 3 kids. I can tell ya though we had rocky times and in between them i fell in love with a guy and was with him for 3 years he loved with me with all his heart and soul but my heart was with my first love. If you are in love with someone now don't turn back to a man who is going through a divorce because it will only encumber you being hurt and dragged through all the mess that he is in. Let him divorce and you be there but from a distance. Let him become whole again and then see what happens. While he is doing what he has to do you can evaluate your relationship with your boyfriend.

I agree, stay away. It will bring lots of grief into your life. Get over your ex, and enjoy your new boyfriend. Believe me the other won't work. Good luck.

Stay away, you are jus asking for trouble. If you don't, you will end up with one boyfriend, that will most likely be the former one.
