there is technologies in golfing kit. the attitude of the golfing head and the grooves on the face of the club mixed with the dimples interior the golfing ball make the ball spin. Then aerodynamics comes into play. That makes the ball not sleep longer and pass added. Ask a pal that does martial arts. The effect is greater considerable than the ability.

Hitting it lower won't stop it from going to the right. If it's going a good distance then you are not popping it up, so lets just get to go straight. I had the same problem going to the right and the instructor had me tighten my grip and move my rear foot slightly back. Tightening your grip doesn't mean to hold the club tighter, it means roll your top hand over more so the V of your thumb points more towards your shoulder. The more you tighten the more the ball goes left. You will need to hit the range to find out a good combination of the two, foot back/grip tighter. Doesn't solve why it's going right but it's a quick fix and it works.

Try taking a lower trajectory take away to flatten out your swing at the bottom. This also helps you from hitting too fat a shot and taking deep divots before making contact with the ball.

If you are talking about hitting from the Tee then try putting the Tee further into the ground so you are not getting so far under the ball.

When you take the club back keep it lower to the ground
It might help
If you are slicing the ball your club head angle is too steep you should fix that because it can really screw up your game. I know
