It's not the same scenerio happening over and over, but in a lot of my dreams it's like I am blind. I can open my eyes and see, but it's really blurry and bright. So blurry and bright that I can't keep them open. This happens alot and in a bunch of different situations. Does anyone know what this means? Please only serious answers.

i have been researching and am writting a book about dreams. in dreams, they can be nothing, or part of something you read, saw or felt that triggered your subconscience to bring out the past or present in your life or some say and i have proven in the future. it could be a meaning that apart of your life you can't see as clearly as you should. sight in dreams has been tied to not being able to focus in parts of your life and like dreams of falling, its failure in parts of your life. stress can bring dreams on that are very vivid as you awaken knowing every detail and others parts you remember and forget later in the day and others you can't remember. everyone has had situations like this where in a dream a phone is ringing and in reality your phone is, but the brain and the subconscience hear it and put it in the dream and you wake to the phone picking it up. the unconscience power of suggestion. it can be a phone, doorbell many things.

To answer your question about what a dream or re-occurring dreams actually mean can be answered in one word - NOTHING. Dreams are constructions of the mind and may relate to things you have just seen or heard on the TV, in the street, at work, etc. These thoughts are then interwoven with a whole raft of other things such as how you are feeling - perhaps you are feeling ill or anxious. Subconscious thoughts can be ' played out' in our dreams. Let me expand upon this. Lets say you really have the hots for someone but you have not got the nerve to actually make the first move. Some people actually dream about the ' what if' scenario - sort of have a dry run in their mind.

Dreams are very complex things and are influenced by internal and external factors but are creations of that wondrous organ - the brain and NOT results of astral travel or divine intervention.

They can be used in a purely psychological context - -but that is another ballgame altogether.

i would think that it means in some way you feel like you've been betrayed or lied to by someone close to u. thats why u can see light. the light is representing the truth, which is blurry. the fact that it is too bright signifies that although it is right in front of u, u don't want to c it. thats why u can't keep your eyes open. the next time u have this dream, u should write down details so u don't forget it. try to find a pattern, see if there is anyone else in the dream w/u.

Light

To see light in your dream, denotes a clear mind, plain understanding, and insight. Light has been shed on a once cloudy situation or problem. You have found the truth to a situation or an answer to a problem.

To see a bright light in your dream, indicates that you need to move toward a higher level of awareness and feeling. Bright light dreams are sometimes common for those who are near death.

Keep in mind, this doesn't mean you are dying, it just means your subconscious is trying to tell you something. If it is a reoccurring dream, it is very important to pay attention to it.

According to Craig Hamilton-Parker, if you dream of being blind it may represent your refusal to see the truth. Perhaps you reject something about yourself or your situation.

It sounds to me like you have an issue that you do not want to deal with. You are suppressing some memory or avoiding something. There is something in your life that you fear and are afraid of seeing.
