My truck has the Muffled Jake, but it is pretty bad when a car comes up beside me and his muffler is louder than my truck and it's jakes.

Trucks with jakes are normally on highways and major streets, kids with loud exhaust are annoying because they venture into residential areas. Jakes really make a difference in stopping a truck and keep the regular brakes from heating up. They are like a necessity where loud exhaust is just for making noise.

I say the Mufflers kids have. But if you are using it in a truck stop to slow down or in a Customers lot. You don't need to go that fast in those ares to need it.

Its not so much the muffler on the kids cars......its how they mount them....they get the loudest muffler they can find and slap it on ....I myself have a Honda prelude....yes it has a fart can "muffler" on the back...but it does not bust your ears....its nice and quiet....unless you rev the engine up to about 7 or 8 rpm......as for Jake-brakes....my dad drove a truck....I could go to sleep listening to one.

Them kids, its just for the show of masculinity- just impractical to the car's function and just plain annoying.
Whereas for jake brake/ engine retarders it serves a purpose for helping an truck slow down. Yet some areas have ban the use of them because of noise.

Jake brakes are illegal in some cities, and they are a useful tool. Why not the mufflers, if you can call them that?

Dude nothings wrong with the mufflers us kids have now dude were not old its 2006 havent you fast and the furious tokyo drift kids are in love with the cars and how they sound i got 06 Nissan Skyline and im only 16
