I went to an event this last weekend, the Mormon Miracle Pageant, and there were a lot of protestors...why do they insist, why can't we just believe what we want? Have you ever seen Mormon's protesting a Catholic Mass, etc.???

No, we don't practice bigamy or polygamy, not for quite a while...

That is one of the priviledges of living in America. What is good to one person or group of people may be offensive to another person or group of people. Look into yourself and ignore the ignorance of others...it has always been a part of society and it always will be.

Why would protesting bother a person. I think it is great that we, at least for now , have the right to protest and speak our mind. By you speaking against protesters, you are actually protesting in your own way. We have the right to protest our government if need be. Try doing that somewhere else and you could get arrested or even killed. You can believe what you want, enjoy it. God gives us all freedom of choice, whether to worship him or not, whether to believe in him or not, to self destruct or not...etc. So yes, in our country and certainly by all means, you do have the freedom do believe anything. Have I ever seen Mormons protesting? No, I can't say that I have. Maybe its because they understand these freedoms and do not think their way is the only way.

There are lots of countries that don't allow protests. Although I think they all kill Mormons for fun. Instead of looking at it as irritating, see it as a great freedom. They won't influence you. You have been brainwashed since birth. Allow and support the protests. Bring them some coffee or Coke.

lets look at what Christians protest... have you ever walked by an abortion clinic... a never ending barrage... occasionally leading a christian protester to murder. As a matter of fact when christianity is involved murder is generally implied. Now look at the political protests against war, against hunger, for the environment... except for the "religious right" protesters against the protesters it's peaceful... you should have learned the peaceful protests brought on by the flower children.

Don't some Mormons practice bigamy? Maybe that's what they were protesting.

It's our right and privilege to protest against things we think or know as wrong. That's a right you have too, if there are things that you believe are wrong.
It's also a true fact, that we often hate protesters who are against what we believe to be true and real.
That's Democracy for you, one day, we hate protesters, and the next day, we could become one ourselves.
It's one of those things we have to live with, whether for or against our own beliefs.

This is just an excercise of the 1st Amendment. You, the freedom of religion; them, the freedom of speech. Both are practicing the right for peaceable assembly. You win some, you lose some.

Their terrific component is displaying that particularly everyone seems to be unhappy and fed up. this is their component. it rather is stable that they are being disobedient and inflicting a ruckus. approximately time somebody did. They probably have tried to construct their resumes and accomplished the works. i've got accomplished that as nicely. i've got accomplished all of it, employment centers, employing to jobs daily ... no longer something. Employers purely choose "experienced experienced workers" ... they seem to think of those human beings magically strengthen on wood or some thing. they are not prepared to handle little ones and that they are not prepared to spend the money to coach new human beings, and in case you have a university diploma? they do no longer care. And curiously internships do no longer count variety as appropriate adventure anymore. it rather is been my adventure subsequently some distance. human beings can purely post with it for see you later till they get fed up. Unemployed actually everyone seems to be human beings, no longer robots who can self-marketplace and spit out resumes 24/7. "I doubt that any of those protesters would act any diverse than the "vast Cats" in the event that they have been of their place" ... you will desire to truly have some faith on your fellow human beings. there are lots of people who does no longer purchase a fourth domicile on the fee of 0.33 international little ones slaving away in factories, or on the fee of an American worker being denied get right of entry to to a union or a well-being care advantages. And spending will help the financial equipment, yeah, like we've not that one beforehand. regrettably for the financial equipment, money does not strengthen on wood, and maximum individuals can incredibly handle to pay for weekly groceries. i've got no longer been to those protests, yet I help the folk there. I help all people who's prepared to reason a headache for Wall St. human beings are not falling for the yank Dream propaganda anymore.

Something to do w. freedom, an otherwise insignificant detail that may not concern you but that many have died for. I'll take protesters over zombies everyday even if I'm against them.
