No, no it's not bad.
The fact that you are running (assuming that you are doing so in an excercise fashion and not just running from like rabid dogs or a gang of ruffians) is a good sign in and of itself.
There are so many people that just do the smoking and drinking part, so you are one up on them by being healthy in your excercise.
Now, the smoking by itself is bad for you, and there isn't any way to get around that. So keep it up or stop it, up to you.
The beer, as it sounds like your just having the one, heck, that's not bad at all. Keep it up.
Love as always,
Sebastian

LOL! You work out like I do (except for the beer part). As soon as I leave the gym I light a cig and usually have some sort of baked goods before the day is over.
Of course it's not good, but honestly, most of the people I've known to be the picture of fitness are/were smokers and drinkers. What can you do.
If the doctor gives you a clean bill of health and you are happy with how you look - who cares?

That's a waste of a good run, that's like eating healthy for a day, and then binge drinking all day tommorrow, your run isn't going to help if you just light up a cigarrette & drink beer

How do you even continue to run? By running then drinking AND lighting up, you are killing yourself. Cigarettes kill your cardiovascular system and beer is killing your internal organs, and if you are running on a hard pavement instead of grass, you are hurting your joints. My guess is that if you keep that up, you will be in an electric wheelchair and addicted to cigarettes in the near future. You could very well be a regular in the emergency room and the doctors will know you and your medical history by heart.

it really is pointless. The beer dehydrates you and the ciggarettes increase your blood pressure by constricting your blood vessels, plus the fact that your putting burnt carbon particulates into your lungs and scarring them. WHY THE HELL DO YOU RUN IF YOU'RE GOING TO SMOKE AND BOOZE AFTER? I mean, I can understand drinking a beer, but right after running? Stop with the ciggarettes. Imagine how much better of a runner you could be if you stopped smoking.

If you're going to pollute your body with cigarettes, why bother to run? Running is good for your cardiovascular system. Smoking is not!! Before you kick back with a beer you should rehydrate with water to replace what you lost in sweat. Alcohol will only dehydrate your body further. My suggestion to improve your overall health is to quit smoking! God bless!

No way. Cigarettes open up your lungs and beer is cooling and refreshing. Everything you could ask for after a good run. Hell, I used to know a guy who smoked *while* he ran, and he was fast. He probably would have drank, too - maybe wearing one of those beer helmets - but that was against regulations.

haha - most likely not the best thing to do!
I usually light up a cigarette for the car ride home after going to the gym....
Do what you enjoy! Life is so short! I'll probably get some flack for saying that, but I don't care!
