If Atheists think theyre so cool, why dont they have their own Bible?

If an atheist made an atheist text, and there was a contradiction in it, would that prove atheism wrong?

Well they do have their own in a sense. To Christians the Bible is a living Bible. The atheist bible is similar in that the word of god is written in their minds. The word of these gods are their own selves.

Truly, in atheism, while they deny an existence of deity, it causes them to take on characteristics of deity for themselves.

Christians believe God is the truth. Atheists believe they what they believe is the truth. God tells us what is moral, immoral, right, wrong, acceptable, unacceptable. Atheists do the exact same for themselves. To be fair, many respond to society so it is not merely their self in choosing, however, ultimately it is because an Atheist will always claim they are not brainwashed like religous are, and so they make the same claim for themselves concerning society. Culture does not brainwash an atheist, because an atheist knows he/she is above these things and can weigh good and evil for themselves, exactly like what Christians believe only God does.

So while Christians have the Word of God, atheists make themselves into gods in many respects, and thus their word is authentic and 'biblical'.

I'm not sure how cool it is to trust in one's self as such, but in personality some atheists are definately cool people. However, it is never because they have made themselves so completely autonomous. It doesn't mix well with the relational foundation of humanity.

they do not have a religion and therefore do not need a religious text. to have a religious text would mean that it was a religion and since it is not they do not have one. i am personally not an atheists, but i believe that you should treat them with respect and honor that you would treat anyone of your own religion. i don;t think that you have the right or the power to judge a person or a group of people. you are allowed to not agree with them, and i don't, but that doesn't give you the right to judge them. you should gently show them the way of the Lord and His good grace. Christianity is my religion, and i have seen atheists get turned away so fast by "bible warriors" tell them that they are going to hell if they don't convert and convert now. they have no right to tell someone whether they are or are not going to hell. that is God's job and it is a job that can only be done when you know the persons heart inside and out.

Their religion follows the strict dictates of the last monkey prophet.., Caesar, from the Planet of the Apes staring Charlton Heston and Roddy McDowell.

First of all, Atheists don't think they're cool, YOU DO. They are just confident in their beliefs, and your subconscious tells you that they are cool. Second of all, why the hell would they want a Bible? As soon as you write a set of rules down in a book, people will start to manipulate them for their own gain. Logic and common sense generally can't be taught. Either you have them or you don't. There are exceptions, but for the most part, either you're a sheep or you think for yourself.

They have no beliefs and if they did and wrote them down then they would be held to it and they would burn it. A fool says in his heart there is no GOD. pssst but there is A GOD. Because Atheists aren't an organized religion, so why wold they need a bible? Being an Atheist is just not having a belief in god - you don't need a book to back you up on it, it's just something you believe.

The point of atheism is that you don't accept authority as the source of the ultimate truth. So for their to be an athiest bible would be a contradicton. However it couldn't disprove athiesm, only proof of God's existence could do that.

Athiesm is about not allowing someone else to tell you what to believe. They need PROOF before they believe. Therefore why have a book?
(Some are less proficient at sticking to this about non-god matters. While I will say that most of the Athiests I know are smarter than believers, have known athiesst who are stupid, and christians who are VERY intelligent.)

Because atheism is a lack of belief in a deity. And..a bible is a book about a deity that followers read in order to learn more about their deity and learn lessons in how to live their lives in accordance to their deity's rules and regulations. Soo..whats your point here? Yet another trouble maker asking questions to get everyone boiled up? Sounds about right.

Atheism is a state of mind. If once they believed and their prayers were not answered, they became atheists. They are most hyper people. If God exists, he will pardon atheists. Remember, God is all loving.
