In sunnyvale and Santa Clara, there is a community center for kids. For sunnyvale you can call 408-730-7350 or check the web site www.sunnyvale.ca.gov/recreation.
They are only for day camp from 10am till 5pm, cost from $205 to $255 per week.
Maybe someone that live in SJ will know of any commuity center there if you thing it is too far.

I was mollested in a cheap camp. Don't go cheap. If you do, check out how they do their background checks. Mine had none.
