I just cut my hair like a few inches pass my shoulders and i feel like its sooo short....my hair is usually past half my back....i dont know what to do with it till it grows out...what hairstyles can i do to make it look nice and not like a lil girl???

Short hair is cute. There are lots of things you can do with it. I would ask your hair stylist what she can do with it. Give you a new look - you might even like it better than when you had your hair long, y'know?

Well, that depends on how your hair was cut. I also used to have really long hair, but I recently got it cut to shoulder length. If you had it layered you can just "feather" the sides back with a light spritz of hair spray, if you do it long enough, the hair will just stay back without it. If you didn't have it layered you can still take a light spritz of hair spray and wave the sides back with a round brush. If you or a friend knows how, tease it out a bit, unless you're already using a volumizing shampoo/ conditioner. (Herbal Essences Citrus Lift is great for it.) Down the road, you may want to get it permed.

If you really miss your hair that much you can get tracks put in until it grows a little longer to where you are comfortable!

if you want a hairstyle to wear down then you are schidt out of luck, girlfriend. the only thing you can do is roll it/set it or have it hang there looking long and boring.
i would have to say i agree with tzstylin, here.

People with short hair tends to get paranoid at times. I think you should try and ask you stylist if side bangs and layers look good on you. Side bangs and layers usually always look good on everyone. =)

if you want a STYLE then it needs to be styled. you can't have styled hair if you're going to do nothing with it.
if you want to do nothing with it then you will have nothing hair.

in order not to look like a little girl with little girl hair then you have to do something to it. what do you plan on doing with it long? have long hair? that's about all you CAN do with that kind of hair.
oooooohhhh how exciting! long BORING hair.

Hair grows. Mine slower than I'd like it to...four years to grow it to where I can finally tie it back!
Anyway, stand in front of a mirror and practice styling it. You'll find something you like.

Maybe you should cut it even more and try one of those Halle Berry looking cuts...it's sexy, bold and mature looking...just make sure you have the right head shape...lol
