True happiness may be sought,
caught, or thought,
But never bought.

Happiness is the result of being
too busy to be unhappy.

No one can define happiness.
You have to be unhappy to
understand it.

Genuine happiness is when a wife
sees a double chin on her husband's
old girlfriend.

Happiness does not come from
what you have.
But what you are.

Happiness is where you find it
and seldom where you seek it.

Happiness is home brewed.

The surest path to happiness
is in losing yourself in a cause
greater than yourself.

The place to be happy is here,
the time to be happy is now,
the way to be happy is to
make others so.

Can you take 15 minutes to read about what happiness really is? If so, then read the site below. It has some objective info from religion but most of the information comes from the top people in psychology including Dr Happiness (nickname).

Cover story of Time magazine calls it the "new science of happiness"-- Positve Psychology. They have actually discovered the supreme happiness where time stops and a person has no fear, worry, anxiety etc. just perfect peace and total contentment.

There are 3 psychology books that are just on this state of consciousness and nothing else. I am very close to this state so I am spreading the news. It has their practical advice from research on how you can move closer to this.

True happiness can be achieved by finding contentment with that which you already possess. The pursuit of a new, bigger TV or smaller phone, the desire for more money, envy of others' apparent good fortune - all of these lead to unhappiness.
Stop for a minute and have a look around you - you are lucky. You probably have all you need in life so be happy. Go on; smile!

It is actually very simple, but humanly unattainable until we meet God and ascend to Heaven.

True undisputed happiness is a state of being completely happy with nothing that could reverse that happiness. Basically, if you have NO worries, NO stress, COMPLETE protection from ALL evil, COMPLETE security of mind, and EVERYTHING that makes you happiest in life, you are truely happy. However this is of course impossible on this earth because there is ALWAYS stress, worry, insecurity, and evil rampant in the world, and it is nearly impossible to have everything that makes you happy. Thus only in Heaven is complete happiness true.

True happiness is a happiness that touches the heart and warms the soul no matter what the circumstances may be. It is happiness no matter what difficulties life may bring. Anyone can find moments of pleasure and "happiness" in the world, but there are few who experience true happiness.

True happiness for me is the little moments where all your worries and cares disappear. Those moments when everything seems perfect and bright. I have a lot of those moments around my daughter. True happiness is also when you can lay down at night with nothing on your mind, nothing you forgot to do, and it's been a good day.

Happiness is the state of being at peace with the world. If you are capable of accepting and nullifying all the bad things that are out there (and they are out there) you leave yourself more influnced by all the good things that are out there (and they are out there)
I'd say im pretty close but not nearly as close as to be enlightened or anything

Happiness, for me, is my family. Seeing them prospoer, grow and develop and just be happy themselves. I'm not saying a few millions wouldn't go a miss but i would be lost without my family. I am at my happiest when i am with them and when i see how well the children are doing at school or with their friends or anything really, i am a very happy bunny!

For me, true happiness would be singing up on a stage in front of millions of people listening and cheering for me. I'm not close to millions, but thousands, yeah I've been there before.
