For over 50 years, just before I jump in the shower, I stretch out perpendicular to the side of the bath tub with my arms, shoulders, head and chest over the side of the tub and my toes supporting the rest of me, and commence to do about 150 push-ups off the side of the tub. Now, I'm a 200# and about 6' tall, so I'm no light weight, but even at my age there's not an ounce of flab on any part of my arms, chest, shoulders or back with this exercise. And do you know what else, I have no monthly fees to pay because this costs me nothing to do. One more benefit to this, is the cardiovascular benefits to developing stamina and a strong heart.

There are quite a few ways. Try this:

Use some 10lbs dumbbells to work your biceps. Do like 3 sets of 25-50reps Mon, Wed, Fri or Tues, Thurs, Sat. Get yourself a good jump rope too and use it daily for around 10-30 minutes. Do the following program of bodyweight exercises everyday.

Hindu Squats
Hindu Push-Ups
Back Bridge

Try to go 25-50 hindu squats with the goal of 500 eventually.

Try for 25 straight Hindu Push Ups with the goal of 100-200 eventually.

Go for a 30 second Back Bridge with the goal of reaching 3 minutes.

For a detailed explaination of these exercises go to www.bodybuilding.com and do a search. Or purchase the book Combat Conditioning at www.mattfurey.com .

For your abs do 3 sets of 50-100 crunches daily.
For your biceps get two 10lbs dumbbells and do 3 sets 20-50 reps three days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri or Tues, Thurs, Sat). You can get the dumbells from a sporting goods store like Dunhams or Sportauthority.

LOTS of exercise!!! To work on your arms you should start lifting weights. There are a few different ways/exercises to do in order to tone your arms. As far as start as weight is concerned...start low (whatever you can life easily with out getting too tired too soon). Don't forget to work on all areas of the arms, like underneath, because it won't look the same and it defeats the whole purpose! Tae Bo really works great too!

Whenever I hear someone say they have "fat" somewhere, I know instantly they need to do something to make them move. I agree with the post that said kickboxing or tae bo. These will burn fat, and tone you up big time! Spot reducing doesn't work, you'll lose everywhere plus tone, and why not have fun doing it too? The dvd's can be purchased online and they're great, incredible workouts.

push ups, pull ups. if you are not strong enough to do them go to a gym, they have pull up machines that you use some counter weights so your able to do them, do as many as you can, and slowly use less counter weights till you can do them on your own.
